According to family members, the woman had gone to visit her cousin after she was reportedly contacted and asked for company while dealing with personal difficulties.

The visit, however, allegedly turned violent after the husband emerged from a bedroom and confronted the visiting relative.

VISIT TURNS VIOLENT

Family sources said the two cousins had been spending time together when the man allegedly came out of the bedroom and confronted the visitor.

He is accused of attacking her, with the incident later captured on video by the couple’s housegirl.

The housegirl reportedly said she was frightened during the confrontation and feared that she could also become a target.

The circumstances surrounding what triggered the confrontation remain under investigation.

MATTER REPORTED TO POLICE

The incident has reportedly been reported at Gatong’ora Police Station, where statements are being recorded from those involved.

Police investigations are expected to establish what happened before, during and after the alleged confrontation.

Family members have also raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding the couple’s relationship, although these claims have not been independently verified.

The identities of the individuals involved have not been publicly disclosed.

Further details are expected as investigations continue.
