Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, are set to be laid to rest in custom-made luxury coffins designed to resemble high-end Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Wicknell’s coffin features a Rolls-Royce-inspired grille alongside the Zimbabwean flag, while Lucy’s coffin carries a Mercedes-Benz-inspired grille.
The distinctive designs reflect the couple’s reported taste for luxury and have drawn attention for their unusual, vehicle-inspired appearance.
The custom coffins are expected to form part of the couple’s final farewell, adding an elaborate and highly personalised touch to their burial arrangements.
